WELCOME
CBIF’s primary goal is to provide housing-related educational activities, including assisting students in understanding and pursuing rewarding careers in construction, engineering, architecture, and related trades.
The Collier Building Industry Foundation (CBIF) helps students get into the trades through programs and connecting them to education and jobs in Collier County.
The Collier Building Industry Foundation (CBIF) was set up in 2005 as part of The Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA). It offers learning experiences to students and gives scholarships. So far, CBIF has given over $100,000 in scholarships and educational grants.
CBIF gives hands-on experiential learning opportunities are provided as well as annual scholarships to high school and college students. To date, CBIF has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to deserving students.
Each year CBIF releases an application for students to submit for a scholarship for education in the trades. The CBIF staff then looks at all of the applications in order to determine who will receive funds and how much they will need.
Unlike scholarships, grants are for institutions requiring funds for projects or programs related to the trades.
